Privacy Policy
The short version: your photo never leaves your device, and there is no account to delete because none exists. Below is everything else the site touches, in plain language.
Your photo
The face analysis runs entirely inside your browser. When you pick a photo on any of the tool pages, the image is loaded into memory on your device and measured by Google’s MediaPipe Face Landmarker, an open model executed as WebAssembly. At no point is the photo, a derivative of it, or any landmark data transmitted to us or to any third party. There is no server-side processing, no upload endpoint, and no photo storage — you can verify this in your browser’s network inspector while a scan runs. Closing or reloading the tab discards everything.
The downloadable report card is generated locally as an image file and saved by your own browser to wherever you choose. We never see it.
Accounts and personal data
FaceGrade has no sign-up, no login, no email collection and no user database. We cannot associate a scan with a person, because nothing identifying is ever sent to us. We do not sell, share or monetise personal data, and there is no advertising on the site.
Analytics
To understand which pages are useful we run two standard, anonymised analytics services:
- Google Analytics 4 records page views and coarse device/region data using the
_gaand_ga_*cookies. - Microsoft Clarity records anonymised interaction heatmaps and session replays (scrolls, clicks, rage clicks) using the
_clckand_clskcookies. Clarity automatically masks all text and form inputs, never captures images, and does not record visitors using ad blockers.
These services see an anonymous client identifier, not a name or email. If you prefer, any ad blocker or “do not track” setting will exclude you from both — the tools work identically without them. The only other local storage is one localStorage key remembering your light/dark theme preference.
Hosting and logs
The site is served as static assets from Cloudflare’s network. Like any web server, Cloudflare keeps routine request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention, governed by Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. We have no access to identifiable log analytics and use none.
Children
FaceGrade is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Given the nature of facial analysis, we ask that minors use the site only with a parent or guardian’s consent, and we do not knowingly collect any data from them.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page. Questions, data requests or takedown notices are welcome at hello@aifacerater.online. Since we hold no personal data, most requests will simply be answered with confirmation of that.
